The middle ground between a smartphone and a dumbphone
Skyward blocks social media, games, porn, & other addictive apps from your Android phone - with restrictions designed to not be bypassed.

How we are different.
Most people try dumbphones or app blockers until they realize that neither works for them.
Dumbphones
Not enough apps
- Missing many apps that you need
- You end up needing a smartphone to access those apps anyway
Skyward
Keep what matters
- Keeps apps that are tools, not distractions
- Skyward's restrictions are designed to not be bypassed
- Curated blocklist handled for you
App blockers
Easy to bypass
- All the addictive apps are accessible
- Easy to disable at any time & heavily relies on willpower
What goes. What stays.
Skyward disables the attention economy while giving you access to essential tools.

Check any app
Search to instantly see whether an app is allowed or blocked by Skyward.
No willpower required.
Most blockers rely on self-control and can be turned off in a few taps. Skyward uses enterprise-grade system controls to block all escape routes.
No turning off Skyward
You cannot toggle the blocker off, force-stop the service, or uninstall Skyward when temptation strikes.
No sideloading apps
Sideloading APKs is fully blocked. You can't download distracting apps with ADB (Android Debug Bridge) or turn on developer options.
No factory resetting
We restrict recovery mode and prevent factory resets. You cannot wipe your device to escape your commitment.
How to lock down your phone.
To prevent you from bypassing Skyward's restrictions, we use mobile device management — the same tool corporations use to lock down company devices.

Why is factory resetting required for option #2?
You need to give Skyward permission to become a device owner — a system-level role that helps us lock down your device. This permission can only be granted during a new phone setup.
